This is an open access book. The COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years has influenced how educational system works. Online learning became the primal policy taken by all institutions in the world to lower the risk of the virus spread. Despite the drawbacks of the online learning, teachers and students were accustomed with the distant learning through web meetings, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other online learning platforms. In that time, topics under digital learning and education 5.0 were the main stakes in academic disseminations. This year some institutions start to conduct their teaching and learning process classically as before the pandemic, others are still continuing online and not few are in hybrid. This leaves a question: what learning reform should be made in post-pandemic era? This conference invites researchers, experts, teachers and students to discuss the coping solutions of the question. Beberapa mata kuliah yang mendukung mahasiswa menjadi guru profesional antara lain, Landasan Pendidikan/Dasar-Dasar Pendidikan, Perkembangan Peserta Didik, Belajar dan Pembelajaran, Kurikulum, Profesi Kependidikan, Perencanaan Pembelajaran, Media Pembelajaran, Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan, Strategi Pembelajaran, Manajemen Pendidikan, Pembelajaran Mikro (Micro Teaching), Evaluasi Pembelajaran, Sosiologi Pendidikan, dan sebagainya. Program Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka tidak mendukung mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan menjadi guru profesional. Adapun program yang dimaksud antara lain: pertukaran mahasiswa yang bertujuan memperluas cakupan ilmu, namun hal ini menjadi sesuatu yang janggal karena mata kuliah lain dikonversikan dengan mata kuliah yang tidak ada hubungannya dengan program studinya. Dengan demikian tidak mendukung konsentrasi mahasiswa pada bidang ilmu yang digelutinya, apalagi selama satu atau dua semester sejumlah 20 hingga 40 SKS tidak mempelajari mata kuliah yang mengarah pada profesi guru. Kemudian pada program magang juga, mahasiswa program studi sejarah misalnya diterima magang di perusahaan roti. Hal ini sangat tidak mendukung mahasiswa menjadi guru profesional bidang ilmu sejarah karena sebagian mata kuliah sejarah dan profesi guru telah dikonversi dengan proses pembuatan roti. Selanjutnya pada program Membangun Desa/Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKNT), kehadiran mahasiswa diharapkan terlibat atau mendampingi perencanaan program membangun desa. Penting untuk diketahui bahwa yang memikirkan pembangunan desa adalah hasil musyawarah dari Kepala Desa dan seluruh Aparat Desa, tokoh adat, dan tokoh masyarakat. Mahasiswa tidak diikutsertakan dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembangunan desa, bahkan kehadiran mahasiswa dianggap sebagai formalitas dari kampus. Mahasiswa tidak akan mampu melibatkan diri lebih jauh dalam hal anggaran pembangunan desa, monitoring dan evaluasi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES). Dengan demikian program membangun desa/kuliah kerja nyata tematik tidak mendukung mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan menjadi guru profesional. Selain program tersebut masih sebagian lagi program Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka yang dapat dipahami dalam buku ini. Sangat terang benderang bahwa program merdeka belajar kampus merdeka ini tidak mendukung mahasiswa dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan menjadi guru profesional

We are delighted to deliver the Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Innovation in Education, Science and Culture (ICIESC). This conference was organized by Research and Community Service Centre of Universitas Negeri Medan (LPPM UNIMED) held virtually on 31 August 2021. By raise up the main theme of Leading Recovery: “The New Innovation in Education, Science and Culture After a Global Pandemic”, the 3rd ICIESC conference shows up several interested topics as a Science Education, Vocational Education, Social Science and Humanities, Management Innovation and Heritage Culture. Some of the topics been interested topic and important to be discussed. With the number participant is 180 participants, who came from Universitas Negeri Medan, Universitas Negeri Makasar, Widyagama University of Malang, Rizal Technological University, Philippine, Sholom-Aleichem Priamursky State University Rusia, Thu Dau Mot University Vietnam. ICIESC consists of 79 papers. The double blinds review process was employed by committee to evaluate all papers, whose members are highly qualified independent researchers in the ICIESC topic area. It has been our privilege to convene this conference. Our sincere thanks, to the conference organizing committee; to the Program Chairs for their wise advice and brilliant suggestion on organizing the technical program and to the Program Committee for their through and timely reviewing of the papers. This is an open access book. This proceeding consists of research presented in ICOSI UMY, on 20-21 July 2022 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The conference covers the topic of governance, international relations, law, education, humanities, and social sciences. The COVID-19 pandemic first time that occurred in 2019, has brought many changes that constrain all countries to adapt quickly. The crisis has shown vulnerabilities and gaps in several primary systems, including healthcare, social protection, education, value chains, production networks, financial markets, and the ecosystem. One of the efforts that each country can take to rise from the COVID-19 pandemic is through strengthening multilateralism, international solidarity, and global partnerships.
