This study sheds new light on childhood education, and reveals Giuseppina Pizzigoni as a contemporary educator of Maria Montessori. While the former is almost unknown and the latter enjoys worldwide fame, both were protagonists of the profound changes in the Italian school system in the 20th century. Their lives developed in parallel, and both great women loved school, respected children, and believed in the strength of education. Pizzigoni’s disciple Sara Bertuzzi later picked up the baton, and continued the impulse of innovation, freedom, inclusion and sustainability, faithful to the features and fundaments of Pizzigoni’s pedagogy and methodology. The volume examines the crucial and current connection between orientation, training and teaching professionalism. Il tema del management didattico nelle università trova la sua genesi in alcune riflessioni scientifiche maturate alla fine del xx secolo e nei successivi progetti Campus voluti dalla Crui. Disponendo dei risultati di un lavoro ormai decennale, possiamo oggi recuperare la iniziale indicazione, quella che allora indusse a discutere di una responsabilità ineludibile, e approfondirne i contenuti, le direzioni d’impegno, le possibili traiettorie e quindi precisare che si tratta di una responsabilità da condividere, una competenza che coinvolge tutti gli operatori presenti nel set didattico, un compito decisivo per l’efficacia del lavoro didattico. L’indagine nasce e prende le mosse da sollecitazioni raccolte all’interno di una università telematica, dove è più avvertita l’esigenza di razionalizzare l’organizzazione del lavoro didattico, e successivamente ha coinvolto studiosi ed esperti provenienti da altre esperienze universitarie. Il volume raccoglie i materiali conclusivi di un percorso di ricerca che ha inteso enucleare i compiti da affidare alla responsabilità dei singoli docenti e le responsabilità di quant’altri abbiano compiti didattici all’interno delle Università, senza ignorare le ragioni e il senso di una funzione di coordinamento, di monitoraggio e di proposta, da mantenere attiva e da potenziare, anche in termini di miglioramento continuo. In totale sono qui presenti venticinque contributi che illuminano un’area problematica che merita sicuramente ulteriori attenzioni, e non soltanto sotto il profilo scientifico, ma anche sul versante istituzionale, politico ed organizzativo.

Come è noto, la configurazione del sistema della Giustizia minorile trova origine nel DPR 448 del 1988 “Disposizioni sul processo penale minorile”, che introduce principi volti a consentire la rapida chiusura del processo, la riduzione delle risposte limitative della libertà personale e la promozione di interventi e processi di recupero e reinserimento sociale del minore. La risposta penale alla delinquenza minorile diviene così un’azione progettuale diretta a stimolare nel minore autore di reato un percorso di responsabilizzazione rispetto ai propri comportamenti e ad acquisire quei valori che ne favoriscano il reingresso nella società civile. II DPR 448/88 è, pertanto, strumento primario della Giustizia Minorile: a distanza di un quarto di secolo dalla sua attuazione, alcuni punti sono stati rielaborati per essere in linea con le trasformazioni della società, la persistente adeguatezza della normativa trova la base nei principi educativi e rieducativi che la sostengono.
