Dynamical Systems In Theoretical Perspective written by Jan Awrejcewicz and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-09-01 with Mathematics categories.
This book focuses on theoretical aspects of dynamical systems in the broadest sense. It highlights novel and relevant results on mathematical and numerical problems that can be found in the fields of applied mathematics, physics, mechanics, engineering and the life sciences. The book consists of contributed research chapters addressing a diverse range of problems. The issues discussed include (among others): numerical-analytical algorithms for nonlinear optimal control problems on a large time interval; gravity waves in a reservoir with an uneven bottom; value distribution and growth of solutions for certain Painlevé equations; optimal control of hybrid systems with sliding modes; a mathematical model of the two types of atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia; non-conservative instability of cantilevered nanotubes using the Cell Discretization Method; dynamic analysis of a compliant tensegrity structure for use in a gripper application; and Jeffcott rotor bifurcation behavior using various models of hydrodynamic bearings.

Analytical And Approximate Methods For Complex Dynamical Systems written by Alexander Timokha and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2025-03-16 with Science categories.
This book presents Analytical and Approximate Methods for Complex Dynamical Systems and introduces ideas of discontinuous mapping treated as complex dynamical systems. Mathematicians of world-recognized Ukrainian scientific schools established by M.Krylov, M.Bogolyubov, Yu.Mitropolskiy, and A.Sharkovsky used to cooperate for writing the collective book whose purpose consists of illustrating a synergy of combining diverse (by idea and technique) constructive analytical and approximate approaches and methods in complex dynamical systems which are herein associated with mathematical models of networks, conflict/economic theories, sloshing, soft matter, and even levitating drops. Readers are facilitated to learn contemporary insights, fundamentals (Parts I and III), applications (Part II), and components of theories of bifurcation, synchronization/self-organization, collective dynamics, chaos, solitons, fractional differential equations, symmetry, reduced order modelling, and many others, that makes the book useful for both graduate and postgraduate students, lecturers, researchers, and even engineers dealing with multidimensional dynamic systems.

Analysis And Simulation Of Chaotic Systems written by Frank C. Hoppensteadt and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-01-27 with Mathematics categories.
Beginning with realistic mathematical or verbal models of physical or biological phenomena, the author derives tractable models for further mathematical analysis or computer simulations. For the most part, derivations are based on perturbation methods, and the majority of the text is devoted to careful derivations of implicit function theorems, the method of averaging, and quasi-static state approximation methods. The duality between stability and perturbation is developed and used, relying heavily on the concept of stability under persistent disturbances. Relevant topics about linear systems, nonlinear oscillations, and stability methods for difference, differential-delay, integro-differential and ordinary and partial differential equations are developed throughout the book. For the second edition, the author has restructured the chapters, placing special emphasis on introductory materials in Chapters 1 and 2 as distinct from presentation materials in Chapters 3 through 8. In addition, more material on bifurcations from the point of view of canonical models, sections on randomly perturbed systems, and several new computer simulations have been added.

Modeling And Inverse Problems In Imaging Analysis written by Bernard Chalmond and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-06 with Mathematics categories.
More mathematicians have been taking part in the development of digital image processing as a science and the contributions are reflected in the increasingly important role modeling has played solving complex problems. This book is mostly concerned with energy-based models. Through concrete image analysis problems, the author develops consistent modeling, a know-how generally hidden in the proposed solutions. The book is divided into three main parts. The first two parts describe the materials necessary to the models expressed in the third part. These materials include splines (variational approach, regression spline, spline in high dimension), and random fields (Markovian field, parametric estimation, stochastic and deterministic optimization, continuous Gaussian field). Most of these models come from industrial projects in which the author was involved in robot vision and radiography: tracking 3D lines, radiographic image processing, 3D reconstruction and tomography, matching, deformation learning. Numerous graphical illustrations accompany the text showing the performance of the proposed models. This book will be useful to researchers and graduate students in applied mathematics, computer vision, and physics.
