In highlighting the political and economic progress of African Americans while pinpointing the historical success of Barack Obama in the last presidential election, the book covers the history of the African peoples in the principal regions of Africa, the Caribbean, North America and South America. In reporting and acutely analyzing the same events of human history spanning over 1500 years, it initially delves into the reactions from the political order in the form of the Tea Party Movement following Obama's victory. Totalling over 500 pages, the book then takes the reader on a trip down memory lane, covering events as the slave trade, discrimination and colonization that pitted Africans and their diasporic descendants against Europeans, and later Americans. After covering the critical stages of African Americans' economic and political development following the Civil War to present day, the book crosses the Atlantic Ocean to cover the major failures of political events after independence on the African continent. Two specific chapters in the book analyze the events under feudal Europe that led to the enslavement of Africans while another does the same on the system of capitalism. The final four chapters report and analyze Africa's present challenges and possible solutions.

In speaking about the contents of this writing, warriors will find a large collection of essential thinking and working tools. In recognizing that you can bring a man to knowledge but you cant make him think, this think book is full of timeless wisdom and battle tested lessons which can assist those who recognize that we are at war and their need to submit themselves to the Akobens call. It offers a generous collection of personal thoughts, fictional knowledge, challenges, motivations and concrete affirmations which can guide warriors toward building and strengthening their character. If studied well, it can even assist the unsure in finding more productive ways to calibrate their desire to better reflect the depth of both the demand that they be Afrikan and creatively envision victory (Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti). In writing this book, Baba Imhotep Asis Fatiu has added to the ongoing dialogue about African manhood. His insights are on point. His perspective of African manhood is brilliant and is a must study for anyone interested in African manhood. This is a fascinating book (Anonymous).

A Shift In Focus Putting The Interests Of Somali People First written by Ellie Kemp and has been published by Oxfam this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012 with Humanitarian assistance categories.

More than six months after the UN declared a famine, Somalia is still in the throes of its worst humanitarian crisis in decades, with 325,000 children suffering acute malnutrition and 31 per cent of the population estimated to be in crisis. A large scale-up of the international response from July 2011, combined with the efforts of Somali communities and civil society, saved many lives. But access to those in need has deteriorated due to expulsions of aid agencies and also to intensified, internationally backed military operations. Responsibility for this situation lies first and foremost in Somalia, where warring factions are accused of impeding and diverting aid flows, but the international community has also been at fault. Policies focused more on international security concerns than on the needs, interests and wishes of the Somali people have inadvertently fuelled both the conflict and the humanitarian crisis. In February 2012, key governments and institutions from the region and the wider Islamic and Western world will meet in London to chart a way forward. They must seize this opportunity to refocus on the Somali people that past policies have failed, developing more coherent strategies to ensure that aid and protection reach those who need it, addressing the root causes of the protracted conflict and chronic vulnerability in the country, while developing coherent strategies to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those who need it.
