Beginning with an analysis of the background of the study, it examines feminist theory, functionalism, and resource dependence theory in relation to the phenomenon. The book highlights the existence of scholarly literature on the topic of sexual assault and what sexual assault encompasses, leading to the problem of unsubmitted and untested SAKs. Sexual assault is a global problem involving women and college students.
