How the relationships between education and outer space have developed historically is exemplified in an incisive way by the decades that followed the "Sputnik shock" of 1957. The wake-up call that resulted from the Soviet space program set the global landscape of learning in motion. New schools and universities came into being against the backdrop of the reform euphoria and mood of catastrophe. At the same time, traditional pedagogical concepts were severely called into question—including the call to do away with institutions of education. What is shown in the architectures of learning is not only a politics of space, but also the educational shock that intensively shook up the global societies of the 1960s and 1970s, while they were gradually being transformed into knowledge societies.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Sozialpädagogik, Note: 2,0, Universität Hamburg, Veranstaltung: Seminar Vertiefung, Sachunterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand dieser Hausarbeit ist die Betrachtung der Bildungschancen der Migrantenkinder im Vergleich zu den einheimischen. Thematisiert wird hierbei die Leistungsdifferenz, insbesondere ihre Ausprägung und die relevanten Ursachen. Insbesondere wird betrachtet, ab wann und inwiefern eine Diskriminierung und Benachteiligung entsteht und mit welchen Folgen diese an Schulen verbunden ist. Dafür muss zunächst verstanden werden, wie eine Benachteiligung im Thema Schule definiert wird, um dann anschließend analysieren zu können, ob dies im Bildungssystem tatsächlich besteht. Im zweiten Kapitel wird auf die Begriffe Benachteiligung und unmittelbare Diskriminierung eingegangen. Ebenso wird die Wichtigkeit der Gleichberechtigung an Schulen thematisiert, um Leistungsdifferenzen zwischen einheimischen und Migrantenkindern zu minimieren, um dann anschließend diskutieren zu können, ob anhand der Analyse erkennbar wird, Bildungsungleichheiten vermeiden zu können. Das Thema der Migration ist aus dem Alltag kaum noch wegzudenken, vor allem in Deutschland ist die Diversität stark geprägt; immer mehr Menschen haben einen Migrationshintergrund bzw. Migrationserfahrungen, da sie Kinder von Zuwanderer/-innen oder selbst welche sind. Durch die Zunahme der Migration kommt es zu verschiedenen Reformbemühungen der Schulen, da Schulen und Lehrpläne zunächst vielfach als nationale Schule gestaltet und durch die erhöhten Zuwanderungszahlen und deren Folgen zu internationalen Schulen reformiert wurden. Ein weiterer Grund für die Reform der Bildungsansätze ist die Teilnahme Deutschlands an Studien, wie z. B. die sogenannte PISA-Studie, die mehrmals ergeben haben, dass der schulische Erfolg in Deutschland deutlich mit der sozialen Herkunft zusammenhängt, was jedoch nicht angemessen sei. Davon besonders betroffen seien vor allem Schüler/-innen mit Migrationshintergrund. Die PISA-Studie ist die Abkürzung vom „Programme für International Student Assesment“, welche die weltweiten Schüler/-innenleistungen analysiert und bewertet und anschließend international vergleicht. Damit ein Zusammenleben in einer multikulturellen Gesellschaft funktioniert, ist es wichtig, dass jedes Individuum gleichberechtigt behandelt wird, und es zu keiner Benachteiligung in der Gesellschaft kommt. Zu den Rechten, die jeder Einzelne hat, gehören Aspekte wie eigene Lebensformen, Glaubenssysteme, Werte und Normen und ebenso der Besitz von Bildung und Arbeit.
