The last chapter contains also reference lists, for the use of teachers, of verbs, homonyms, abbreviations, rules of spelling, etc. The correction of common errors of speech is also systematically carried out. This is the seventh volume of the series of Special Methods, the whole series running as follows: Special Method in the Reading of English Classics, in Primary Reading, in Geography, in History, in Elementary Science, in Arithmetic, and in Language.
