As a fitness icon and motivational mastermind, Shaun T has helped millions of people transform their bodies and their lives through his Hip Hop Abs, INSANITY, and CIZE workouts. But people who think of Shaun T as just a workout force are missing something. He has always focused on building inner strength first, then moving to the exterior. And that inner focus started in his own life. He became the man and motivator he is today after escaping from the abuse he suffered as a child, and fighting his way back from a 50-pound weight gain in his early 20s. He knows first hand that you can't drop weight or enjoy better health until you overcome the mental obstacles that cause bad choices in the first place. In T is for Transformation, Shaun T unveils the 7 transformational principles that guided his progress through life and that are at the core of his incredibly successful workouts. T is for Transformation is a motivational master class as Shaun shows you how to become more flexible and resourceful, give everything you've got, and, most importantly, trust and believe in your path to success. The only real obstacles in life are the mental ones, and T is for Transformation can train you to achieve astonishing results in your own life, just as Shaun T has in his.

Topological Dynamics And Applications written by Robert Ellis and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998 with Mathematics categories.
This book is a very readable exposition of the modern theory of topological dynamics and presents diverse applications to such areas as ergodic theory, combinatorial number theory and differential equations. There are three parts: 1) The abstract theory of topological dynamics is discussed, including a comprehensive survey by Furstenberg and Glasner on the work and influence of R. Ellis. Presented in book form for the first time are new topics in the theory of dynamical systems, such as weak almost-periodicity, hidden eigenvalues, a natural family of factors and topological analogues of ergodic decomposition. 2) The power of abstract techniques is demonstrated by giving a very wide range of applications to areas of ergodic theory, combinatorial number theory, random walks on groups and others. 3) Applications to non-autonomous linear differential equations are shown. Exposition on recent results about Floquet theory, bifurcation theory and Lyapanov exponents is given.

Infinite Words is an important theory in both Mathematics and Computer Sciences. Many new developments have been made in the field, encouraged by its application to problems in computer science. Infinite Words is the first manual devoted to this topic. Infinite Words explores all aspects of the theory, including Automata, Semigroups, Topology, Games, Logic, Bi-infinite Words, Infinite Trees and Finite Words. The book also looks at the early pioneering work of Büchi, McNaughton and Schützenberger. Serves as both an introduction to the field and as a reference book. Contains numerous exercises desgined to aid students and readers. Self-contained chapters provide helpful guidance for lectures.

Ceramic Cutting Tools written by E. Dow Whitney and has been published by William Andrew this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-02 with Technology & Engineering categories.
Interest in ceramics as a high speed cutting tool material is based primarily on favorable material properties. As a class of materials, ceramics possess high melting points, excellent hardness and good wear resistance. Unlike most metals, hardness levels in ceramics generally remain high at elevated temperatures which means that cutting tip integrity is relatively unaffected at high cutting speeds. Ceramics are also chemically inert against most workmetals.

Robust Nonlinear Control Of Industrial Evaporation Systems Implementation Of Differential Geometric Techniques written by Miro Kraetzl and has been published by World Scientific Publishing Company this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1999-02-01 with Technology & Engineering categories.
Nonlinearities exist in all process control systems. The use of linear control techniques is valid only in a narrow region of operation. Nonlinear control is central to future industrial development. In this book, multivariable nonlinear control techniques based on differential geometry are considered in a pragmatic manner. The book provides a simplified and systematic approach to geometric nonlinear control theory. A case study of an industrial evaporator is used as an example throughout the entire book. Various other examples are also used throughout the text to illustrate the theory. The book successfully demonstrates the superiority and simplicity of the class of controllers studied through simulations and actual plant implementations. The simulations were done using the symbolic computation package MAPLE. Discussions are given on the application of symbolic computation in process engineering. This book is aimed at industrial practitioners and postgraduates in engineering, and will be particularly valuable to practicing engineers who find the theory books on control somewhat heavy going. The insights provided in the book will encourage more industrial implementations of nonlinear controllers, and thereby help to bridge the widening gap between control theory and industrial practice.

Explore the algorithms and numerical methods used to compute electromagnetic fields in multi-layered media In Theory and Computation of Electromagnetic Fields in Layered Media, two distinguished electrical engineering researchers deliver a detailed and up-to-date overview of the theory and numerical methods used to determine electromagnetic fields in layered media. The book begins with an introduction to Maxwell’s equations, the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory, and concepts and definitions relating to Green’s function. It then moves on to solve canonical problems in vertical and horizontal dipole radiation, describe Method of Moments schemes, discuss integral equations governing electromagnetic fields, and explains the Michalski-Zheng theory of mixed-potential Green’s function representation in multi-layered media. Chapters on the evaluation of Sommerfeld integrals, procedures for far field evaluation, and the theory and application of hierarchical matrices are also included, along with: A thorough introduction to free-space Green’s functions, including the delta-function model for point charge and dipole current Comprehensive explorations of the traditional form of layered medium Green’s function in three dimensions Practical discussions of electro-quasi-static and magneto-quasi-static fields in layered media, including electrostatic fields in two and three dimensions In-depth examinations of the rational function fitting method, including direct spectra fitting with VECTFIT algorithms Perfect for scholars and students of electromagnetic analysis in layered media, Theory and Computation of Electromagnetic Fields in Layered Media will also earn a place in the libraries of CAD industry engineers and software developers working in the area of computational electromagnetics.

Changing The Game written by Eric G. Flamholtz and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998-10-01 with Business & Economics categories.
How do companies like Microsoft and Wal-Mart rise to the top of their industries and dominate year after year, while others like People Express and LA Gear burn out after promising starts? In Changing the Game, Eric Flamholtz and Yvonne Randle, two leading management consultants, reveal that the key to success lies in how you transform your organization. Virtually all organizations face critical transition points in their life cycle, when they must change how they play the game, or perish. Flamholtz and Randle focus here on three critical moments: the move from entrepreneurial to professional management, when a firm reaches a stage of growth where it can no longer operate in an informal, unstructured way; the revitalization of an established business that is losing ground to competitors; and a radical change in a business vision. The authors show, for instance, how American Century Investors made the transformation from a $50 million entrepreneurship to a professionally managed company with a market value of $2 billion; how IBM, one of the great American corporations, was forced by the proliferation of PCs in the 1980s to overhaul its business to survive; and how Starbucks Coffee, originally a Seattle coffee-bean store, was inspired by Milans romantic coffee bars to recreate itself and transformed an entire industry. The book concludes with a look at how one company--Bell Carter Olive Company--pulled together all the concepts and tools presented in the book and successfully changed the game. Changing the Game provides a comprehensive framework and a set of tools for the strategic management of organizational transformation. It will help managers meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive business environment.
