"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country."—John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Inauguration Address, January 20, 1961 "Some men see things as they were and say ‘why?' I see things that never were, and ask ‘why not?"—Robert Francis Kennedy, Campaign Speech, University of Kansas, March 18, 1968 "The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die."--Senator Edward Kennedy, Democratic National Convention, New York City, August, 1980 The words of three powerful brothers—men united not just by family ties but by a tradition of inspiring service that continues today with their children and grandchildren. Words which have united a nation, inspired generations to take up the very best and most honorable of causes, and pushed individuals to do and be and give their best. So often, these Kennedys—John, Robert, and Edward—found the right words to say, to the United States and to the world. John F. Kennedy, the charismatic President with a strong commitment to justice and human rights. Robert F. Kennedy, Senator, Attorney General, and presidential candidate, who carried the family standard after Jack's assassination and broke new ground in civil rights prior to his own tragic murder. Edward M. Kennedy, the Lion of the Senate, whose passion created some of the most far-reaching legislation of the last five decades. The Dream That Will Not Die collects some of the most striking speeches and quotes by the Kennedys, showing that even when the going was tough, these brothers found the right way to make their thoughts and feelings clear, showing their charm, humor, and determination. Here you will find your own inspiration, in the words of three men who believed that all Americans deserved the same privileges the Kennedys were born to, privileges they never took for granted. The Christians’ God Does Not Exist! Yes, He/She Does! By: Proncell F. Johnson Jr. Carl Sagan, popular astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, and astrobiologist wrote: “We are Star Stuff which has taken its destiny into its own hands.” The scientific community basically agrees that everything is made of atoms. Proncell F. Johnson Jr. says that they are all wrong! Johnson shows that the material universe (along with us mortals) is one big illusion for all things are actually incorporeal/spiritual, the manifestation of the spiritual being we Christians have come to call God. He says that the realization of and utilization of this fact will enable one to duplicate for himself the “so-called” miracles of Christ Jesus in degrees, thus proving the existence of this God, and the non-existence of matter. Johnson’s proof is based upon a law of physics that make it all but impossible to refute as the below reviews confirm.

WHY HUMAN LIFE IS ULTIMATELY A DREAM is a book that is born not out of mere imaginations and figments of thought but of a powerful dream inspiration which the author took cognizance of its value for clarifying thought on the mystery of life and death. The book responds to many powers that have eluded the attempt of philosophers to give satisfactory answers to, such as posers on the meaning of life, the reality of death, the actuality of life-after-death, the ultimate fulfillment of the destiny of the human person, the nature of the human person, the relationship of the human reality to the ultimate reality, and the veritable relationship between humanity and divinity in the various phases of human experiences on earth, especially with the experience of evil in the world. The language of the book is simple for the understanding of all and sundry except in special cases for the uneducated that may require another version of this book. This book will serve the good purpose of enlightenment to anyone who peruses it with enthusiasm and an unbiased mindset. So the author recommends it for all and sundry as it is sensitive to all currents of beliefs and thought without religious bias. It is a book for you to understand and appreciate your life, personage, activities, hopes and aspirations as human being created in Gods image and likeness. The authors own life-experience provides a platform for situating the new portrait of life and death which the author paints with this work in various contexts of human experiences whether good or bad. So this work is a life companion for all and sundry and is anticipated to stand the test of time.

The Dream Of Bernat Metge written by Richard Vernier and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-03-02 with Literary Criticism categories.

The Dream of Bernat Metge is the first English translation of Lo Somni, a prose dialogue written around 1397 by the Catalan humanist Bernat Metge (?1340-1413). It stands as a noteworthy example of nascent humanism and a vivid document of contemporary customs in the Crown of Aragon. As a document touching on eschatology, faith and scepticism, politics, classical mythology, traditional mysogyny and current fashions, it holds appeal for scholars in many fields. This is one of the few modern editions of the text available, and the only one presented in English. Richard Vernier provides an extensive original introduction, as well as an annotated translation of the text. In the introduction, Vernier places the text in its historical and cultural background, and supplies a brief biography of the author. He discusses literary antecedents of Lo Somni, poised as it is between medieval allegory and humanistic discourse, and its value in the development of Catalan prose. He also traces the history of the text from the time it was written through its descent into oblivion, to its rediscovery in the nineteenth century. This first English-language edition of Lo Somni will interest historians and scholars of literature, philosophy and Romance languages. This translation provides a unique opportunity for comparative studies with other Western European medieval texts and authors.
