In every man there is purpose. Each life that existed on the earth is more than one that passes with the hope of making enough of an impression to grant them eternal reign with Christ and the Father. The choices we make and the more pursuant we are to the spiritual things of God, the easier it becomes for us to recognize His predestinated, divine will for our lives. In discovering our divine calling in today's society of believers, there has been a barrage of paraphernalia and reference tools created to help us figure out what may be designated to us individually. Individually, we must establish a relationship, not just of our confession of salvation, but an open dialogue with heaven that our spirit may become fully developed and take charge of our natural way of living. To function in the principle and precepts of God's righteousness is the first line of defense to winning the battle of faith and establishing the spirit, mind, body, and soul to fully operate in God's will.

Overcome the Symptoms of Faith-life Deficiency Faith-life is the principal enterprise representing the believer's daily internal and interpersonal functioning based on the believer's relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ. How the believer thinks, acts, behaves, and makes decisions is the result of the believer's Faith-life. Counseling, consulting and working with couples and individuals as well as ministry professionals who encounter symptoms such as fractured families, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, addiction, pornography, abortion, defiant children, teenaged pregnancy, fallen ministers and ministries, Dr. DavidSon has identified a common functional plague. His term for this plague is Faith-life-Deficiency (FLD). New believers and believers with years of Christian experience are as high risk for these symptoms as their unbelieving counterparts. Among several causative factors, Dr. DavidSon reveals: "While it may be great for an event or single service, many believers are subjected to feel good talks, religious shtick, obsessive religious themes, religious clich patterns or motivational fanfare where they will rarely learn the functional wholeness Jesus Christ represents. Where ministries have well designed Faith-life programs, they are offered as alternatives, electives, or options and believers often miss one or more essential topics." Jesus was clear that every believer must be fully equipped for living and ministry. When they are not fully Faith-life enabled, they are subject to every kind of evil-based fault, scheme, disease, and trick originated by the agents of darkness and evil. Thus, Faith-life Deficiencies may be apparent in any or all areas of a believer's Faith-life. Milk to Maturity, the Ultimate Health Guide offers a systemic approach that captures the most critical Faith-life health-disciplines in one guide. Participants are primed or prepared for ALL ASPECTS of the Faith-life. Moreover, believers are given sound study keys to search, identify, and learn the faith-life skills for themselves, and numerous other learning enhancements. The web-based, National M2M 'Life' College is designed to assist churches, ministries, and individuals. Now, believers learn how to experience the Faith-life Disciplines from being Born-Again to Jesus' Coming-Again. Milk-to-Maturity, the Ultimate Health Guide is a must for every one, particularly persons in the Christian education and Christ-based health ministries. This book and program is a Christ-based Counseling concept.

About 90% of people have faith in a supreme being, but our yearning for the divine, and whatever it promises, involves a large divergence in mental states and behaviors. Some adhere to doctrine, supplication, and fastidious religious practices; others have a strong sense they are part of something greater and more universal. However, all religious and spiritual paths are mediated by complex brain networks. When different areas of the brain are stimulated, a person can have a variety of experiences, but there is no specific ‘God spot’ where stimulation enhances religiosity or spirituality. Functional brain imaging shows that there are specific areas of the brain that ‘light up’ when subjects perform certain religious activities, but imaging only provides anatomic correlations, not functional explanations. The Believer's Brain takes a step beyond these singular methodologies, providing converging evidence from a variety study methods of how humans’ brain networks mediate different aspects of religious and spiritual beliefs, feelings, actions, and experiences. Although the book reveals how our brain is the home to the religious and spiritual mind, understanding this gift will not diminish our spirituality or our love or our belief in a supreme being, but will increase appreciation of the apparatus that mediates these mental states.

Return of the Believer: Studies in the Prayer of Jesus from the Gospel of John is a theological study of the Prayer of Jesus specifically, the Gospel of John in general, and relevant topics in the Synoptic Gospel. The Prayer of Jesus contains twenty-six verses with each verse prompting broader applications for the Christian faith. The main title Return of the Believer implies an original express of faith in Jesus Christ by John the writer of the Gospel. The study accepts an apologetic value to the Gospel of John as it argues the importance of true faith through the acceptance of John’s interpretation of Jesus Christ. The Prayer of Jesus is a summary of John’s views of Jesus. The return of the believer is a call for a renewal of faith in the New Testament, especially the Gospel of John. This study reveals the Apostle John as the true believer and model for the Christian faith, and the Prayer of Jesus provides a summary of John’s teachings and the expressed will of God for the Church. Each verse is explained in the context of its surrounding verses, and important topics are addressed. The special feature of the Prayer is its prompting of related issues that appear elsewhere in the New Testament and the teachings of the Church. For example, the Prayer, and the Gospel itself, does not mention the birth of Jesus but, instead, focuses on the pre-existence of the Son as the eternal Logos or God. This study requires an explanation of the difference. Discussions of each verse invite the reader to engage in contemporary related issues.

A map almost ruined our honeymoon. It was our second day of marriage, and as we were driving up the Olympic Peninsula to Port Angeles, I found it difficult to read the map and drive at the same time. So I handed the map to my Debbie and asked her to tell me where to turn. As a new believer, I felt like Debbie: Someone hands you a Bible and expects you to know how to read it. Jesus had transformed me into a new creation, but I was a baby who did childish things and needed a parent to nurture me along and stimulate my spiritual development. I hope that in a way, I can be that for you as you read the lessons I learned in my pursuit to be a follower of Christ, such as learning to effectively tell people how Jesus changed my life, becoming consistent in spending time alone with God, letting prayer be a vital part of my life, discovering what helps grow my faith, finding an easy way to study the Bible, and mastering sin in my life. I thank my heavenly Father and Lord Jesus for my journey because with each lesson, I have grown closer to Them. As that intimacy deepens, so does the longing to be with Them in heaven. My prayer is that this will happen to you as I share my journey with you.

Guiding the Believer Paul wrote the letter to the ephesians to Christians in Ephesus, a pagan and multicultural city, while imprisoned for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ephesians is one of the pristine jewels of Paul’s New Testament letters, overflowing with the greatness of salvation in Jesus Christ and its practical application in the relationships that surround the believer in an unbelieving world.
