The BRAND NEW brilliant roommates-to-lovers, forced proximity funny romantic comedy from BESTSELLER Camilla Isley Could there be room for attraction? Hunter has secretly been in love with her best friend’s brother Dylan for years, despite barely registering as a blip on his radar. She’s not even in the friend zone—more like friend zone adjacent. But her luck is about to change: Dylan is taking over her spare room, and she's being promoted to roommate. Could this be the moment Dylan finally notices her? Not so fast. When Dylan moves in, he carries more than just boxes—he brings complications. Suddenly, the dream of living under the same roof turns into a daily struggle. Dylan is off-limits, for reasons Hunter couldn’t have anticipated, and the closer they get, the harder it becomes to ignore her feelings. But Hunter’s determined to keep her heart in check—no matter how difficult the task. She just has to avoid ogling him in a towel. Definitely don’t imagine what’s under the towel. And try not to swoon when he bakes cookies. But after he saves her from a terrible date and they’re forced to share a sofa bed at his parents’ house, her emotions reach a breaking point. 'Laugh-out-loud funny, bananas sexy, and deeply romantic' Andie J. Christopher 'This book IS PURE JOY' Christina Lauren Clara Wheaton is the consummate good girl: over-achieving, well-mannered, utterly predictable. When her childhood crush invites her to move across the country, the offer is too good to resist. Unfortunately, it's also too good to be true. Suddenly, Clara finds herself sharing a house with a charming stranger. Josh might be a bit too perceptive - not to mention handsome - for comfort, but there's a good chance he and Clara could have survived sharing a summer sublet if she hadn't looked him up on the internet . . . Once she learns how Josh has made a name for himself, Clara realises living with him might destroy the reputation she's spent years building. Practical Analysis In One Variable written by Donald Estep and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-04-06 with Mathematics categories.

Background I was an eighteen-year-old freshman when I began studying analysis. I had arrived at Columbia University ready to major in physics or perhaps engineering. But my seduction into mathematics began immediately with Lipman Bers’ calculus course, which stood supreme in a year of exciting classes. Then after the course was over, Professor Bers called me into his o?ce and handed me a small blue book called Principles of Mathematical Analysis by W. Rudin. He told me that if I could read this book over the summer, understandmostofit, andproveitbydoingmostoftheproblems, then I might have a career as a mathematician. So began twenty years of struggle to master the ideas in “Little Rudin. ” I began because of a challenge to my ego but this shallow reason was quickly forgotten as I learned about the beauty and the power of analysis that summer. Anyone who recalls taking a “serious” mathematics course for the ?rst time will empathize with my feelings about this new world into which I fell. In school, I restlessly wandered through complex analysis, analyticnumbertheory, andpartialdi?erentialequations, beforeeventually settling in numerical analysis. But underlying all of this indecision was an ever-present and ever-growing appreciation of analysis. An appreciation thatstillsustainsmyintellectevenintheoftencynicalworldofthemodern academic professional. But developing this appreciation did not come easy to me, and the p- sentation in this book is motivated by my struggles to understand the viii Preface most basic concepts of analysis. To paraphrase J.

Saving Farmland written by Nathalie Chambers and has been published by Rocky Mountain Books Ltd this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-06-15 with Nature categories.

When Nathalie Chambers and her husband, David, first took over Madrona Farm, 27 acres on southern Vancouver Island with a deep history, they never thought their small-scale agricultural business would blossom into an international political act. As pressures from heirs, land developers and industrial farmers grew alongside their rows of organically produced food, the Chambers took action. Considered by many to be revolutionary and by some to be rebellious, their story opened many eyes to the future of food. Saving Farmland introduces readers to stories of lost farmland and bees saving lives. It shows how sustainability, ecosystems and biodiversity transcend the paradox of our own, man-made losses. Saving Farmland describes overcoming obstacles, choosing models, identifying vital farmland, building community and fundraising. Concluding stories of commonly shared land, international trusts, regained farmland and several heroes provide ongoing inspiration. This practical book teems with fascinating history and facts. Saving Farmland will help us all support local farming and sustainable land development so we can indulge in good eating—forever.

This book is designed for an undergraduate, one-semester course in experimental research, primarily targeting programs in sociology, political science, environmental studies, psychology, and communications. Aimed at those with limited technical background, this introduction to social science experiments takes a practical, hands-on approach. After explaining key features of experimental designs, Green takes students through exercises designed to build appreciation for the nuances of design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation. Using applications and statistical examples from many social science fields, the textbook illustrates the breadth of what may be learned through experimental inquiry. A chapter devoted to research ethics introduces broader ethical considerations, including research transparency. The culminating chapter prepares readers for their own social science experiments, offering examples of studies that can be conducted ethically, inexpensively, and quickly. Replication datasets and R code for all examples and exercises are available online.
