Elle crée L’association Consortium L@cces-LSF-pour-tous en 2013 qui devient une plateforme de formations à distance (e-learning) et un centre de recherches sur l’enseignement de la langue et de la culture sourdes. Elle est chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (promotion 2020). Dr Christopher A.N.Kurz est professeur et directeur du Laboratoire de mathématiques et d’apprentissage du langage scientifique au RIT , Institut technologique de Rochester ( USA). Il donne des cours de méthodologie et de pédagogie de la langue des signes dans le cadre du programme d’études supérieures. Il a publié de nombreux articles sur l’histoire de l’éducation des Sourds , notamment sur Laurent Clerc, Amos G.Draper et Edward M. Gallaudet. Il a reçu le prix Eisenhart Outstanding Teaching Award du RIT, en 2015.

She introduced LSF programs in education, created the LSF option test for the baccalaureate, the DCL LSF (Diploma of bilingual skills, French LSF), and the CAPES of LSF, between 2005 and 2010. Ellen Mansfield est une artiste sourde américaine dont le studio (Tile Stroke studio) est à Frederick, MD. Son œuvre exprime l’expérience des Sourds, de leur culture et de leur identité. Elle fait partie du Mouvement De’VIA. Elle travaille dans une variété de styles esthétiques et techniques, notamment des reliefs sculptés, des blocs de plâtre sculptés, des presses à carrelage et des carreaux de mosaïque. Tous les carreaux sont finis dans une large palette d’émaux en faïence et en grès. Ses peintures abondent en motifs et notamment celui de l’œil, et ont fait l’objet de nombreuses expositions, aux Etats Unis et dans d’autres pays. Her work, tiles and paintings express the Deaf Experience, culture and identity. She belongs to the DE ‘VIA Movement. She works in a variety of aesthetic and technical styles including sculpted relief, carved plaster blocks, tile presses and mosaic tiles. All the tiles are finished in a wide palate of earthenware and stoneware glazes. Her paintings use numerous motifs, the eye, notably, and can be seen in many exhibitions, in the USA and abroad.
