Percepatan program sertfikasi halal pada UMKM Kabupaten Banyuwangi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal, sedangkan kesadaran halal dan religiositas berpengaruh terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal. Kebijakan pemerintah tidak memoderasi pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kesadaran halal terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal, namun memoderasi pengaruh religiositas terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal. Global market memoderasi pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kesadaran halal terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal, disisi lain tidak memoderasi pengaruh religiositas terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal. Variabel tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap percepatan program sertifikasi halal karena jenjang pendidikan tidak menjadi landasan untuk pendaftaran sertifikat halal, begitu juga dengan gelar akademik tidak menjadi faktor utama dalam menciptakan produk berkualitas. Sembilan indikator percepatan program sertifikasi halal mendukung teori Yjitoresmi dan Setiari tentang sertifikasi halal. Menolak teori Soerjono bahwa semakin tinggi pendidikan seseorang akan menjadikannya cenderung dalam tingkat derajat kepatuhan hukum dan kesadaran hukum. Selain itu, bentuk kepatuhan hukum terhadap Undang-Undang Jaminan Produk Halal tentang kewajiban sertifikasi halal akan ditaati apabila telah dilakukan edukasi, sosialisasi dan pendampingan dari Pendamping Proses Produk Halal.
