Auf der Basis der ersten flächendeckenden Fragebogenerhebung an allgemeinbildenden Schulen in Niederbayern und Oberösterreich im Rahmen des EU-Forschungsprojekts „Bewegter Ganztag“ wurden 25 Schulen aus verschiedenen Schularten in Niederbayern und 15 aus Oberösterreich für eine verfeinerte Analyse ausgewählt. Diese beinhaltet Dokumentenanalysen, Schulleiterinterviews sowie eine eingehende Analyse der bewegungsbezogenen räumlich-materiellen Infrastruktur vor Ort. Aus diesem Kreis der „Projektschulen“ wurden für eine vertiefende Analyse vier „Porträtschulen“ aus Niederbayern und vier aus Oberösterreich ausgewählt. Exemplarische Befragungen von Schülern und Lehrern sowie die Ergebnisse und Erfahrungen aus einem Motorik-Test liefern die Grundlagen für die Formulierung von abrundenden, fein differenzierten Schulporträts, die zur praxisnahen Beschäftigung motivieren sollen.
