La commande directe du couple (DTC) presente une solution tres interessante aux problemes rencontres dans les autres strategies de commande des machines a courant alternatif, cependant l'utilisation d'un regulateur a hysteresis echantillonne dans cette commande dite DTC conduit a un fonctionnement a frequence de commutation variable, ceci entraine des problemes lies au bruit acoustique genere par le moteur. Afin d'ameliorer les performances de la DTC conventionnelle (qui se base sur l'utilisation du regulateur a hysteresis), ce travail, propose des approches intelligentes basees sur la logique floue, les reseaux de neurones et les systemes neuro-flous, pour minimiser en premier lieu les ondulations du couple electromagnetique, et compenser la variation de la resistance statorique a basse vitesse (le seul parametre utilise dans la DTC, et seule la variation de celle-ci degrade les performances du systeme), en remplacant en second lieu le regulateur de la vitesse conventionnel par des regulateurs intelligents. Toutes ces approches ont ete appliquees a la machine synchrone a aimants permanents MSAP et a la machine asynchrone a cage d'ecureuil MAS.

Cet ouvrage présente une étude comparative de deux méthodes de commande non linéaires d'un système FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System) pour l'amélioration de la stabilité transitoire d'une machine synchrone raccordée à un réseau puissant soumis à un défaut triphasé. Le dispositif FACTS utilisé dans cet article est un ASVC (Advanced Static Var Compensator) qui va être connecté en parallèle avec la ligne de transmission pour contrôler l'échange de puissance réactive lors d'un défaut. En premier lieu, on va faire appel, pour le contrôle de l'ASVC, à la théorie des ensemble flous en introduisant dans le système de puissance un régulateur flou. Par la suite, et dans le but d'améliorer davantage la stabilité transitoire du système de commande électrique, le régulateur flou sera remplacé par un régulateur neuro-flou qui représente l'association d'un système à inférences floues et un réseau de neurones. L'efficacité du régulateur neuro-flou, proposé dans cet article, est validée par une simulation numérique présentée à la fin de cette étude.
