No entanto, a mudança de concepções a respeito da avaliação em Matemática frente a um processo de ensino diferenciado não se faz presente na literatura de maneira tão explícita. É nesse contexto que está situada esta obra, fruto de uma investigação de Doutorado em Educação Matemática, realizada no Departamento de Didática da Matemática e das Ciências Experimentais, na Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de Salamanca - Espanha. Ela traz uma investigação que buscou as concepções dos alunos a respeito da avaliação em Matemática e por consequência, da própria Matemática, antes e depois de realizar uma experiência onde o processo de ensino e de avaliação estavam integrados, fazendo um comparativo, mostrando mudanças bastante significativas.
