Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Studienseminar Buchholz für das Lehramt an Grund-, Haupt- und Realschulen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Internationale Leistungsvergleichsstudien, wie beispielweise PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), zeigen, dass die „Basiskompetenz Lesen“ bei deutschen wie auch bei Kindern und Jugendlichen anderer europäischer Staaten nicht ausreichend ausgeprägt ist. Die Verbesserung der Lesefähigkeit wurde daher vom Europarat im Rahmen der Lissabon-Strategie im Jahr 2003 zu den „Five Education Benchmarks for Europe“ für die Dekade bis 2020 erklärt. Als Konsequenz aus den schlechten Ergebnissen wurde zunächst darauf gesetzt, den Schülerinnen und Schülern Lesestrategien zu vermitteln (vgl. Garbe 2012, S. 9-11). Nach den jüngsten Ergebnisse der Leseforschung fehlt es den Lernenden jedoch häufig vor allem an Lesemotivation (vgl. Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung 2010, S. 3). In neueren Publikationen wird daher darauf hingewiesen, „dass eine erfolgreiche und nachhaltige Leseförderung den ,subjektiven Faktor‘ auf keinen Fall ausklammern darf“ (Garbe 2012, S. 11). Die Lesemotivation ist darum zum wesentlichen Aspekt le-sepädagogischer Intervention geworden (vgl. Payrhuber 2001, S. 622). In Bezug auf die Schule bedeutet dies, sich nicht mehr darauf zu fokussieren, den Lernenden das Lesen und Schreiben zu vermitteln, sondern vielmehr von Anfang an die intrinsische Lesemotivation zu fördern, um gleichzeitig die literarische Kompetenz und die Lese-kompetenz auszubilden (vgl. Garbe 2012, S. 16 und Tholen 2012, S. 153). Als Lehrkraft ist es daher wichtig zu wissen, wie eine erfolgreiche Förderung und Auf-rechterhaltung der Lesemotivation in der Schule möglich ist. Aus diesem Grund werden in dieser Arbeit die Lesemotivationsmethoden „Lesekarte“ und „Lesemauer“ hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksamkeit vergleichend untersucht, die in der 1. und 2. Klasse an der Hanse-schule Winsen eingesetzt werden. Die Analyse erfolgt unter folgenden Leitfragen: 1. Fördert das jeweilige Verfahren die Lesemotivation der Schülerinnen und Schüler? 2. Welche Schülerinnen und Schüler erreicht die jeweilige Lesemotivationsme-thode? 3. Welche Alternativmöglichkeiten gibt es aus Sicht der Schülerinnen und Schüler die Lesemotivation zu fördern? Methodologisch wird hierbei wie folgt vorgegangen: Zunächst wird der Themenkomplex Lesemotivation theoretisch betrachtet (Kapitel 2), um eine Grundlage für die spätere Analyse zu schaffen. Im Anschluss daran werden die Methoden genauer vorgestellt (Kapitel 3), die schließlich im darauffolgenden Abschnitt hinsichtlich der genannten Leitf
