Diese Publikation dokumentiert die Forschung der FALKO-Projektgruppe (Fachspezifische Lehrerkompetenzen) der Universitäten Regensburg und Augsburg. Auf Basis einer theoretischen Konzeptualisierung in Anlehnung an die Wissenstaxonomie Shulmans und deren Modellierung in der COACTIV-Studie wurden qua domänenspezifischer Operationalisierung Testinstrumente zur Erfassung des Fachwissens und des fachdidaktischen Wissens von (angehenden) Lehrkräften für die Unterrichtsdisziplinen Deutsch, Englisch, Latein, Physik, Musik und Evangelische Religion entwickelt und validiert. Ergänzend wurden von der Pädagogik flexibel einsetzbare Vignetten zur Messung des fachunabhängigen pädagogischen Wissens konzipiert. In den Kapiteln werden Forschungsstand, Testkonstruktion und Ergebnisse zu den untersuchten Lehrkräften und Lehramtsstudierenden aller beteiligten Unterrichtsfächer vergleichend präsentiert und vor dem jeweils eigenen Fachhintergrund diskutiert. In einer finalen Metaanalyse werden auch neue Daten aus der COACTIV-Studie zum Fach Mathematik berücksichtigt, um auf einer breiten Datenbasis (N = 1594) Determinanten sowie Strukturen des domänenspezifischen Professionswissens von (angehenden) Lehrkräften transdisziplinär zu untersuchen.

Ziel des hier vorgestellten Projekts war es, ein Testinstrument zur objektiven, reliablen und validen Messung des fachdidaktischen Wissens (FDW) und des Fachwissens (FW) von Physiklehrkraften der Sekundarstufe zu entwickeln. FALKO-Physik folgte bei der Testkonstruktion einem projektubergreifenden Rahmenmodell, das sich an die COACTIV-Studie anlehnt sowie die Wissenstaxonomie Shulmans berucksichtigt. Dabei wurde im Unterschied zu anderen Testkonstruktionen im Fach Physik besonders darauf Wert gelegt, mehrere zentrale physikalische Themengebiete sowohl im FW-Testteil als auch im FDW-Testteil zu implementieren. Wahrend der Validierungsphase erfolgte eine Untersuchung von Physiklehrkraften sowie angehenden Physiklehrkraften (Studierenden) der Sekundarstufe I. Die Reliabilitat des FW-Testteils war zufriedenstellend (,82), das FDW konnte dagegen nur eingeschrankt reliabel gemessen werden (,65). Weiterhin wurden Konstruktvalidierungsstudien mit Konstrastgruppen durchgefuhrt. Wahrend beispielsweise Gymnasiallehrkrafte und Fachphysiker im FW aufgrund der ahnlichen fachlichen universitaren Ausbildung erwartungsgemass vergleichbar abschnitten, war der Vorteil der Lehrkrafte im FDW dagegen erheblich grosser.

Die verschiedenen Studienelemente und -phasen müssen strukturell und inhaltlich miteinander vernetzt und gemeinsam auf die Profession des Lehrerberufs ausgerichtet werden. Im Kasseler Projekt 'Professionalisierung durch Vernetzung' (PRONET) der 'Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung' werden u.a. curriculare Vernetzungsmodelle entwickelt, in denen die Studienelemente so miteinander verknüpft werden, dass sie sich gegenseitig ergänzen und vertiefen. In mehreren Teilprojekten wurden zu den Konzepten 'situiertes Lernen' und 'Lernen mittels Konzeptwechsel' hochschuldidaktische Lernumgebungen zur Vernetzung unterschiedlicher Studienelemente beschrieben und mit ersten empirischen Befunden aus sieben Fachdisziplinen gestützt. Hierbei werden qualitative und quantitative Zugänge genutzt, um die Wirksamkeit von vernetzten Lernumgebungen auf die professionelle Handlungskompetenz angehender Lehrkräfte zu evaluieren.
