This book is a compendium of blog posts and cartoons written during the heady days of the 2011 World Cup. As history will testify, Team India won the cup covering themselves with glory for only the second time under the astute leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. How did this book come about? I hope you can relive the joy of those months through my insubstantial attempts to capture the essence of those days. If you are one of those who simply abhor the word 'cricket', then this book is definitely not for you. If you, like me, have a 'Love-Hate' relationship with the Indian cricket team, then this may be for you depending on your disposition at the current time However, if like me, you cannot peel your eyes away from any tripe about Indian cricketers and their achievements, this book may just be the icing on your confetti.
