Inhaltsangabe:Gang der Untersuchung: Im Zentrum dieser Arbeit steht die kritische Analyse des praktischen Einsatzes sowie der Erfolgsaussichten einzelner und integrierter Kundenbindungsmaßnahmen. Die Ausführungen beziehen sich dabei zwar exemplarisch auf den Reiseveranstalter, analog dazu können die Ergebnisse jedoch auch auf andere Branchen übertragen werden, die ähnliche Vertriebsstrukturen aufweisen. Einleitend bietet die Arbeit sowohl eine umfassende theoretische Begründung für Kundenbindungsmaßnahmen als auch eine Analyse der Voraussetzungen für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer erfolgreichen Kundenbindungs-Konzeption. Im Hauptteil wird dann die operative Durchführung verschiedener Kundenbindungsmaßnahmen thematisiert. Dieser Teil der Arbeit ist sehr praxisnah gehalten und enthält viele Beispiele. Die Besonderheit des Reisemarktes läßt sowohl die direkte als auch die indirekte Kundenbindung zu, weshalb auch auf beide Möglichkeiten separat eingegangen wird. Als theoretisches Grundgerüst dient der Marketing-Mix, aus dem konkrete Kundenbindungsmaßnahmen abgeleitet werden. Insbesondere wird auch auf die Umsetzung integrierter Kundenbindungskonzeptionen eingegangen. In diesem Zusammenhang ist beispielsweise die multimediale Möglichkeit zur Kundenbindung über das Internet zu nennen. Den Abschluß der Arbeit bildet eine kritische Würdigung der Ergebnisse.
