Além disso, trata de povoados da época do Brasil Império, as brigas dos protestantes contra os católicos, o negro na história de Lapão, os crimes ambientais, os quilombolas, a história política, casos, lendas, curiosidades e a terrível e inesquecível seca de 1932 que resultou na morte de centenas de pessoas e em um admirável fluxo migratório pela caatinga em busca de lagoas ou cacimbas com água, resultando no surgimento de novos povoados.
