Bajo el título de La investigación y la gobernanza, la Cátedra UNESCO de la Universidad Externado de Colombia reúne en su tercera publicación, en primer lugar, análisis sobre la gobernanza; la garantía efectiva del acceso a la justicia de las víctimas de desplazamiento forzado; y propuestas concretas de política pública para la superación del estado de cosas inconstitucional declarado en la Sentencia T-025 de 2004, así como herramientas de seguimiento y evaluación de las mismas (cap. I).En segundo lugar, reflexiones acerca de la compleja relación entre las políticas públicas y los derechos humanos, que incluyen el estudio de la biopolítica; de la historia de la política social en Colombia; de las críticas a la política criminal predominante; y del impacto, a nivel nacional, de las órdenes supranacionales europeas frente a la tutela del medio ambiente (cap. II). En tercer lugar, escritos sobre la justicia transicional que incluyen la perspectiva histórico-conceptual; las definiciones, aplicaciones y relaciones que existen entre los derechos a la verdad, la justicia y la reparación; los estándares de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en relación con la exigencia de reparación integral; y las críticas al castigo en el derecho penal internacional (cap. III). Research Paper (postgraduate) from the year 2023 in the subject Pedagogy - School System, Educational and School Politics, University of Benin (Faculty of Education), language: English, abstract: The study is aimed at assessing differential item functioning by school ownership in 2020 WAEC SSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination) Economics multiple choice items. To achieve the objectives of this study, four research questions were raised and two hypotheses were tested. The Survey Research Design was adopted. Multi-stage Sampling Procedure was used to select the sample for the study. The population of the study comprised 21440 students in SS3 in Benin metropolis who wrote the 2020 WAEC SSCE. The sample size for the study was two thousand one hundred and forty four (2144) SS3 students. The research instruments used for the study was 2020 WAEC SSCE Economics multiple choice questions. Logistic Regression Analysis was used to detect DIF while the hypotheses were tested using Chi-Square Statistical Analysis. All hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings showed that out of the fifty (50) items in WAEC 2020 Economics examination question paper, eight items function differentially by school ownership. From the results of the hypotheses of the 2020 WAEC SSCE Economics, the null hypotheses of no significant difference in the number of items functioning differentially by ownership was retained. Based on the findings, it was recommended that test experts and developers should explore the use of Logistic Regression Analysis to detect items with DIF.

L’obra que us presentem troba el seu antecedent en el llibre Les Pràctiques d’Educació Social. Eines per al seu desenvolupament, publicat al 2004 pel Servei de Publicacions de la UAB, en el marc de la diplomatura d’Educació Social de la Facultat de Ciències de l’Educació de la UAB, antecessora dels graus actuals. Una part important de l’equip que el va redactar repeteix autoria en El Pràcticum de Pedagogia i Educació Social. Competències i recursos, que teniu a les mans. Aquest fet evidencia l’interès i el compromís del professorat que s’ha implicat en la important tasca d’organitzar i desenvolupar els pràcticums de les dues titulacions, i que ha volgut anar més enllà deixant testimoni escrit de com són i com s’estan gestionant els nous plans d’estudi iniciats al 2007-2008. Comptar amb els dos documents ens proporciona l’oportunitat de conèixer les modalitats dels pràcticums que es descriuen, en el context i en l’època acadèmica en què s’han dut a terme, i l’evolució històrica viscuda entre l’etapa anterior determinada per la LOGSE (1990) i les lleis que la van desenvolupar, i l’actual model de plans d’estudi universitaris derivats dels acords de Bolonya (1999) i de la implantació de l’Espai Europeu d’Educació Superior (2010). El llibre s’emmarca en els graus d’Educació Social i de Pedagogia que s’imparteixen actualment a la Facultat de Ciències de l’Educació de la UAB.
