Visual discrimination can be defined as the ability to determine and classify objects, symbols, shapes, etc. by differences in colour, form, size, texture, or orientation, or shape by the eyes receiving visual input and analysing that information. As was stated in Book I, one of the keys to learning is repetition, repetition, repetition which used to be called rote learning. I know all of my times tables without thinking because they were drilled into me. I still know lots of nursery rhymes because we repeated them as children and then I taught them to my own children. So, the repetitive nature of the steps is deliberate, as is the multiple use of animals and things.
