HRM has gained over the years a massive significance in the activities of any enterprise, whether it is operating on the local level or internationally. Nowadays, more companies are practicing it. In fact, HRM was proved efficient on several levels and influenced the whole performance, output, and productivity of the organization; this HRM holds within it different concepts that need to be explained separately. However, throughout this research, we have put the emphasis on training, one of the biggest functions in HRM. However, despite the numerous studies already guided in this field, a large part focused on the relationship between training and the organizations' performance. The review of the literature proves that training is indeed for the organization's benefit. Nevertheless, the researches achieved on the subject of employees' commitment are still inaccurate which makes the subject vague and undetermined. As a result, I found it interesting to study the influence of training on the employees' organizational commitment. What is then the relationship between different training methods and the employees' organizational commitment? The theoretical study will help us understand the principles of training and commitment, while the empirical study will be demonstrating the hypothesis through specific results; the survey that will be guided will allow us to study this dimension in the Lebanese market and we will reach a solution confirming the fact that in Lebanon, in opposite to foreign countries, there is no statistically significant relationship between the two variables.

This empirical study investigated the impact of organizational training on employee commitment focusing on employees' emotional and affective responses towards their organization. Organizational training is conceptualized within a multidimensional framework consisting of motivation for training, access to training, benefits from training and support for training. The hypothesis of this study has been built on a resource-based view, social exchange theory and psychological contract theory. Field research was conducted through surveys with 298 participants of four- and five-star hotels operating in Izmir, Turkey. Confirmatory factor analyses were used to analyse the quality of the training scales and multiple regression analyses were conducted to test the hypotheses of the study. The results revealed that all dimensions of training positively affected employee commitment. Implications have been presented for both researchers and human resource practitioners as to how to utilize organizational training factors to increase employee commitment.

The current commercially competitive environment compels senior management into addressing both positive and negative aspects of their organizations in attempts to excel in all areas. Organizations are constantly engaged in activities aimed at increasing access to resources, including manpower, material, money and methods, that will allow them to compete successfully in a changing environment, and to plan and design activities to accomplish the perceived goals of the organization. Growing organizations constantly seek to improve program implementation, to develop new resources or address that needs in the community. There is a need for a systematic process for creating and sustaining improved performance that can react rapidly to changes in the environment. Many organizations undertake periodic assessment of their performance to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources, to be in line with advances in technology, to meet societal needs and to ensure achievement of the organization's goals. Management experts have developed various tools that help organizations to evaluate their performance in their functional areas with respect to time, and benchmark their performance with industry standards.

However in Western countries there have been a number of studies on training and organizational commitment, very little work has been done in respect of the employees in Islamic banking industry of Pakistan. This research explores the relationship between six training variables (Perceived availability of training, Motivation to learn, Perceived benefits of training, Perceived supervisor support for training, Perceived Coworker support and perceived transfer of training) and several elements of organizational commitment (affective commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitment). Descriptive Statistics, Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression are used to examine questionnaire's data from 317 employees of 11 Islamic banks operating in Pakistani Islamic banking industry. The perceived availability of training, motivation to learn, perceived supervisor support for training, coworker support were all have a significant positive impact over affective and normative organizational commitment.
