Il volume illustra e commenta la dettagliata fotografia della competenza digitale di studenti e studentesse, di diversi ordini e gradi scolastici, alla luce dei risultati emersi nell’ambito del progetto «Benessere Digitale Scuole».Dal febbraio 2021 al giugno 2022 circa 2.000 insegnanti delle scuole secondarie di primo e secondo grado italiane hanno scelto di iscriversi alla piattaforma «Benessere Digitale Scuole», utilizzandone i contenuti formativi. In questo contesto, per 211 classi è stata richiesta una valutazione della competenza digitale tramite lo strumento di misurazione: sono stati somministrati 3.939 test a studenti di diverso grado e ordine scolastico.Questo volume offre un’analisi approfondita dei dati raccolti in piattaforma, da cui emerge una fotografia interessante riguardo la competenza digitale dei giovani che hanno preso parte ai test.Dopo un’introduzione teorica, il volume illustra il livello di competenza digitale di studenti di diversi ordini e gradi scolastici, con differenti performance scolastiche e provenienti da diversi contesti socio-economici familiari. Offre, inoltre, un confronto tra la competenza digitale degli studenti e quella dei loro insegnanti. Infine, l’uso di dati raccolti nel 2017/18 con lo stesso test permette di capire come è cambiata la competenza digitale dopo la pandemia da Covid-19.
