Chi l’ha detto che mentre stai per morire ti passa tutta la vita davanti agli occhi in un momento? Non è così, è lei, la morte, che ti tiene in sospeso per farsela raccontare da te la tua vita. Almeno questo crede ZeroSei, il protagonista della storia, nel momento in cui vede che gli stanno puntando contro una pistola e sono sul punto di premere il grilletto. Chissà se è proprio così. Forse sta sognando. Oppure gli hanno già sparato ed è in coma in un letto d’ospedale. Non importa. Intanto ingaggia un corpo a corpo con la morte, che lo conosce bene. Non è la prima volta che ZeroSei si mette nei guai. Per questo lei gli si presenta in forme familiari. Perché la morte non è lo scheletro con la falce in mano. Tutt’altro. Lei assume l’aspetto dei nostri pensieri, dei nostri desideri. Così ZeroSei racconta la sua vita, da bambino cresciuto in un quartiere popolare di Roma ad attivista politico negli anni Settanta, poi, con la fine delle illusioni, spaccia droga, sfrutta la prostituzione, organizza truffe e imbrogli. Anche se non in questo ordine. Perché deve stare attento a non annoiare la morte, altrimenti le cose possono mettersi male.

La scuola dell’infanzia è un vero ‘gioiello di famiglia’ del sistema educativo italiano. La scuola statale ha da poco compiuto i suoi primi cinquant’anni ed ha ampliato un paesaggio ove erano già presenti le scuole dei Comuni e quelle private. Il progetto educativo usufruisce di INDICAZIONI PER IL CURRICOLO (d.m. 254/2012), i cui ‘campi di esperienza’ si innestano su ORIENTAMENTI educativi di grandi tradizioni pedagogiche. Ora la scuola per i bambini dai 3 ai 6 anni è invitata a misurarsi con la prospettiva “zerosei” (d.lgs. 65/2017) per costruire un sistema integrato di servizi educativi (Asili nido) e scuole dell’infanzia, rispettosi comunque delle loro identità. Il libro presenta saggi di inquadramento, ipotesi di lavoro sui campi di esperienza e, soprattutto, un repertorio di trenta parole-chiave commentate, che rappresentano il lessico di base che accomuna e arricchisce la professionalità di educatori e insegnanti. Il volume è stato scritto da 36 autori (dirigenti scolastici, ispettori, docenti universitari, pedagogisti e soprattutto docenti) che rappresentano la ‘voce viva’ della scuola dell’infanzia italiana. Il coordinamento dell’opera è stato curato da Giancarlo Cerini (direttore della “Rivista dell’istruzione” e coordinatore di “Scuola7.it), da Cinzia Mion (formatrice, psicologa, del Forum veneto delle associazioni professionali della scuola) e da Giovanna Zunino (già insegnante di scuola dell’infanzia e membro dei comitati scientifici di Proteo Fare Sapere e ZeroseiUp).

Il volume risponde alla esigenza di dare un contributo alla riflessione sulle dimensioni culturali, pedagogiche e politiche implicate nella definizione del ruolo e delle funzioni dell’educatore.
