Driven to Change lays out a simple no-nonsense approach to creating your best self, how to create a winning attitude in your life, and how changing the way you think changes your life direction. Learn what it takes to become your best self as you read this personal life story of a man's quest to become a better person as he worked to silence the demons stuck in his head and how he triumphed over his self-limiting beliefs that kept him stuck in life. Jack Canfield said, "Everything you want is on the other side of fear..." It is where the magic happens, it is where we grow, it is where we learn, and it is where we can help others face their own fears. This book provides you with the tools needed to face the fears keeping you stuck in life. It brings to life old-man wisdom in an ever-changing world. Many believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness. Contrary to belief, it is a sign of strength. It is a sign of courage. Giving up by giving in is a sign of weakness. Never give up, never give in, never surrender has as much to do with the fight in the heat of battle as it does with the quality of your life. When you seek and receive help, things change, and that, my friend, is what this book is about. I am pretty certain I would not be here today if I had not asked for help. If it were not for my wife, the outcome of my story would have been much different. (Jeff Heiser)

In the world of business, theories of change always agree on two essential ingredients: committed leaders and engaged employees. Most would say that if you have these, you will have successful change—but how do you get them in the first place? And how do you maintain them through reorganization, new strategies, or necessary cutbacks? Change management expert Bud Taylor has a simple yet profoundly effective answer. In Customer Driven Change, he demonstrates the power of thinking about change from the customer’s point of view. By encouraging leaders and employees to adopt a cohesive perspective—that of your customers—you will create sustained commitment and engagement within your organization faster than with any other approach.

Do you want change-driven values or values-driven change? As criteria for making decisions and setting priorities, values should be considered before taking action. In response to immediate pressures, however, many organizations allow change to drive values rather than the other way around. This practice leads to shortsighted decisions that jeopardize long-term success. Ken Hultman, critically acclaimed author and one of the world's leading authorities on organizational values, draws from his knowledge and expertise of over 30 years to bring forth an important compilation of theoretical concepts, instruments, and exercises designed to help today's leaders, managers, and OD practitioners develop and maintain values-driven organizations. Using a systems approach, and packed with practical strategies, tools, and seven proven instruments, this book gives you the resources necessary to make values the focus for: Team change, Personal change, Organizational change, and Multi-level change (personal, team, and organizational)

Change Management: Manage Change or It Will Manage You represents a substantial core guidance effort for Change Management practitioners. Organizations currently contend with increasingly higher levels of knowledge-driven competition. Many attempt to meet the challenge by investing in expensive knowledge-driven change management systems. Such systems are useless, and sometimes even harmful, for making strategic decisions because they do not distinguish between what is strategically relevant and what is not. This Management-for-Results Handbook focuses on identifying and managing the specific, critical knowledge assets that your organization needs to disrupt your competitors, including tacit experience of key employees, a deep understanding of customers’ needs, valuable patents and copyrights, shared industry practices, and customer- and supplier-generated innovations. The authors present two aspects of Change Management: (1) traditional Change Management as it impacts the project management team’s activities and (2) a suggested new approach to Change Management directed at changing the culture. The focus is to prepare the people impacted by the project and change activities to accept and adapt to the new/changed working conditions. The first half of the book deals with traditional Change Management, which covers the topics of remembering, understanding, and applying. The second half presents the authors’ new approach to changing the culture, which deals with analyzing, evaluating, and creating.

Performance Driven Organizational Change written by Lex Donaldson and has been published by SAGE Publications this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998-10-27 with Business & Economics categories.

In Performance-Driven Organizational Change, Lex Donaldson, one of the leading scholars in the field of organizational theory, introduces a thought-provoking theory of performance-driven organizational change. He argues that recurrent crises of poor organizational performance are required to trigger adaptive organizational change in many aspects of the organization. Moreover, the adaptive change induced by each crisis creates the capacity for fresh organizational growth. Hence, through a series of adaptations and resulting growth spurts, the organization grows larger and more effective. He notes that while there has been much research into optimal management and human resource practices resulting in prescriptive advice, that without performance crises there is a good chance that needed organizational change will not be forthcoming. This book is highly recommended for advanced students, researchers, and scholars in the areas of organization theory, organizational change, strategy, human resource management, and economics.

The Swedish Working Life Fund — a temporary organization functioning from 1990 to 1995 — distributed 10 billion Swedish crowns for workplace development and initiated 25,000 projects. About half of the total labor market was affected. This evaluation study, which is built on case studies as well as a survey of a representative sample of the project population, describes the emergent characteristics of organization development in Swedish enterprises and services. In order to locate the efforts of the Fund within an explanatory context, the study draws on the idea of concept-driven change, of participation in development processes, of development coalitions, of infrastructure for change and of a society, that is supportive of change.
