Die Platzierung von Produkten soll das Publikum unbewusst beeinflussen, da eine aktive Aufmerksamkeit der Zuschauenden stattfindet. Indem diese direkt auf die Verstandigkeit der Handlung gerichtet wird, werden weitere Informationen, wie platzierte Marken, unbewusst verarbeitet (Schumacher, 2007, S. 4).
